London is awesome! One day on tour with burning feet, breathing the air of the city – a perfect inspiration for my photography. The weather was typical, rain, sun, rain, sun, a dream – especially for a wedding photographer ;-) M. and T. were the right couple for London. We all enjoyed the photo shooting. I shot in two different „styles“ today, this one is the the lovely version, tomorrow I show you the dirty one :-)
Now the results of the latest ISPWP wedding photography contest are published. The ISPWP organization about itself: „The best wedding photographers of the world“. I got the first place in the category „emotinal impact“ and the 6th overall place. Thanks to all my couples for the fantastic photos!
Eva and Sebastian booked for their wedding in Cologne. Unfortunately the day began with complete closure of the highway A7 just before Hanover. Hours and minutes elapsed and I moved only forwards by centimeters.
Luckily I am connected well with many colleagues, therefore I found a great replacement in Robert Funke. Robert took photos of Eva’s preparation, I then arrived (from the ring photo on) conveniently for Sebastian’s preparation. I am pleased that Robert’s photos fit in so seamlessly into the series.
Luckily I did not miss too much of this wonderful wedding. That much laughter and joy makes one forget the trouble on the A7 very quickly. The two certainly knew how to party, in the evening the dancing was without pause. Have fun with the pictures.
This was my first wedding as photographer in the lighthouse in Hoernum. Entire nine people fit in the tower and one is quite out of breath once the top is reached. But before the marriage ceremony there was of course the preparation of the bride. Nancy got a gorgeous bridal hair style at the Etoilé, the dress she put on at the cottage, from where everyone left together.
After climbing all the stairs of the lighthouse and taking a good breath, one can enjoy the incredibly beautiful view. To marry at this place is truly something very special. It helps to get over the fact that the maximum capacity to witness the ceremony is nine people.
After the mandatory sheet cutting, balloon flying and tree stem cutting, everyone enjoyed an outstanding lunch in the wonderful beach atmosphere of the Seepferdchen.
The beauty of Sylt for me as a wedding photographer is the possibility to take beautiful portrait pictures everywhere, be it in the dune landscape or at the beach.
With this couple I already did a wonderful photo session in the wintery Hamburg. No the time has come: the two married on Gut Bardenhagen. Prepared perfectly by the team of Gut Bardenhagen, the marriage ceremony took place in the garden.
Two friends of the bridal couple led through the ceremony, therefore the ceremony went corresponding emotionally. Personally I do like corny wedding photos in the green field, but too much is too much. With the help of two Mexican wrestling masks we eased the photo shooting a little bit and brought into focus the artistic aspect again :-)
Evenings DJ Frank cared for the proper tune and the dreamlike day faded away in hilarious festivity. I hope you enjoy the photos.
Time for a post after a long time of silence from me, due to of a lot of work. The wedding of Sandra and Torben took place at Whitsun in fine weather at Borghorst manor. Here in North Germany we do not have so many castles and chateaus but in return more manors.
