International Wedding in Hamburg

At the moment the couple lives in Australia. The bride is from Hamburg and they decided that Hamburg is the best place to marry. The getting ready and the reception took place in an awesome location: The Louis C. Jakob. The wedding ceremony was in the „small Michel„, which is actually not that small. After the ceremony we had a nice photo session in the Jenisch-Park. Please enjoy the photos!

International Award Winning Wedding Photographer

Now the results of the latest ISPWP wedding photography contest are published. The ISPWP organization about itself: „The best wedding photographers of the world“. I got the first place in the category „emotinal impact“ and the 6th overall place. Thanks to all my couples for the fantastic photos!

International Wedding at the Suellberg

I always enjoy taking photos on the Suellberg. One knows each other, the location is great and most of the times Michael Graaf is responsible for the decoration with flowers. For me this means, I will have beautiful pictures :) OK, it takes a little bit more: besides my personal effort, a photogenic bridal couple of course.

This, one can truly claim regarding this couple. One coming from Hamburg, the other one from France, are both working at the beautiful Lake Geneva. Alright, enough rambling, please enjoy the following photos :-)

Ever Married on Board of a Hanseatic Cog?

It works, it is fun, it is beautiful and it’s something very special. This is the way I see it, especially as the ship landed directly at the place of the party, the Strandsalon, a beach club. But from the beginning: It all began with a coach ride for the guests from Luebeck to Travemuende, where the whole group boarded together and waited for the bride.

While the hanseatic cog moved towards Luebeck, an associate (whose name I forgot, bricks and mortality on me) from Imke Klie led through the free marriage ceremony. All the while grandfather played beautifully on the accordion.

As to the rest, everything was quite casual, every one had a lot of fun and in the evening, cocktails went like hot cakes. Whether or not everyone jumped in the club’s pool together, is beyond my knowledge, as had I to head home eventually ;-)

A Short Film on my Work as a Wedding Photographer

Konrad Licht filmed me during a wedding. If you want to get a brief insight into my work as a wedding photographer and my thoughts on it, please enjoy the following film.

As a Wedding Photographer in Cologne

Eva and Sebastian booked for their wedding in Cologne. Unfortunately the day began with complete closure of the highway A7 just before Hanover. Hours and minutes elapsed and I moved only forwards by centimeters.

Luckily I am connected well with many colleagues, therefore I found a great replacement in Robert Funke. Robert took photos of Eva’s preparation, I then arrived (from the ring photo on) conveniently for Sebastian’s preparation. I am pleased that Robert’s photos fit in so seamlessly into the series.

Luckily I did not miss too much of this wonderful wedding. That much laughter and joy makes one forget the trouble on the A7 very quickly. The two certainly knew how to party, in the evening the dancing was without pause. Have fun with the pictures.
