WEDDING PORTRAIT

The wedding portrait is the pinnacle of each reportage and often takes on a freestyle character – an improvisation in the moment. If you have researched wedding photography, you will have come across the classic poses in the park, aswell as a diversity of  unconventional styles and ideas.

My wedding portraits depart from the traditional - I am always pushing the limits for new ideas and spontaneous moments - yet I consciously include the traditional approach for the sake of older family members. My sessions always include both – natural and artistic portraiture.

During your wedding preparations you may wonder when is the best time for portraits and how much time should be allocated. In my experience the late afternoon sun and/or early evening light are the most flattering during the summer months. During winter and fall the sun is always at an angle, so midday is most suitable.

How much time you invest into your session depends entirely on you – and how much these mean to you. I personally recommend 1-2 hours.

Alternatively you can schedule a portrait session on a seperate day.

Should I be booked on your wedding day, yet you wish to do a portrait session with me, we have the option of shooting on weekdays or Sundays. More information may be obtained by email.
