Last fall I had the pleasure to be a part of a very beautiful wedding. The wedding couple got married at Süllberg and ended up for their reception at Gastwerk. A recent discovered patio in St. Pauli was the perfect location for taking their portraits. But we did not meet the patio’s owner. Well just get your own opinion on that :-)
Today I would like to show you a wedding that I was allowed to accompany in summer 2015. The wedding couple got married at Michel’s being Hamburg’s biggest cathedral. Afterwards the wedding party was invited to a skybar called Clouds. Portraits had been shot in their garden incorporating the funny dogs and their beloved Vespa.
The reception took place at Portonovo where the bride got surprised by an individual written love song.
Second Shooter was Natalia Cury.
Two beautiful days in fall and the glorious located venue Schloss Münchhausen caused the right basics for this awesome wedding. Melanie Schmitz and her team of marry me had been responsible for an smoothy organization. Make up and Hair were done by Ina Mühlhaus, whereas flowers were arranged by Michael Graaf. And the right music for a cozy atmosphere was played by Max & Friends. In addition to that I had photographical support by Carsten Schäfer who was responsible for the Polaroid attraction for the guest book and taking some additional shots for the wedding video. Two memorable days with a great wedding party that I will not forget soon.
Natalia Cury and me accompanied a beautiful wedding in the Elblounge in Hamburg. This time, Natalie assisted as a second shooter and lots of these photos were taken by her. It really was a like a small meeting between all the wedding obsessed people who I admire. Probably that is the reason why the wedding was so special to me. The wedding plan came from the talented wedding planer Anna Brinkmann, the make up was created by Katharina Jasinski and the beautiful wedding gown was found at Elbbraut. Coinna Lovens from Wertvolle Worte guided the guest with lots of emotions through the lovely ceremony. And the flowers, a ocean of peonies were arranged by Blumen Graaf. In the afternoon DJ Alexander Kruck was in charge of getting the crowd into the right dancing mood.
But enough words, here you can see the pictures!
Recently I was happy enough to shoot another wedding on the lovely island Sylt. The ceremony took place in Morsum and the after party was in Budersand. I guess the pictures are talking for themselves. Have fun!
Before start presenting the first weddings of 2014, we want to show you a small retrospect of 2013. Last year we had been at many great places, had come to know wonderful people and were allowed to witness their tears, laughter, joy and expectations. We experienced very private moments that were more important than just a photo, good food, music and dance. We saw in you what is really essential in life, which made our days more special. For that we would like to say thank you!
